Cot & highchair hire is available payable locally. Outside the house is a large patio area with patio furniture and private driveway. On top is a large roof top solarium. The pool and garden is shared however only with the houses around it and has keyed entrance to ensure security. There is a large pool for adults and a separate children's pool.
Los Alcazares is on the edge of the Mar Menor, a large salt water lagoon, here the water temperature is always above average, all the beaches are blue flag and have life guards on duty during busy times. It is very safe for children and includes lots of water sports, surfboarding, jet skiing, kiteing, sailing. The beach is a short 10 minute walk or you can take the car, about 1 minute.
Los Alcazares now boasts two excellent golf courses located within the town and easily accessible from the villas. Many more golf courses are located within a the local area. Believe it or not, it is possible to go skiing here from December to April. A simple three hour drive south on the motorway brings you to Sierra Nevada, an excellent ski resort, stay the day or stay overnight, there are lots of hotels.
The nearest airport is San Javier, Murcia, flights arrive here from many U.K. & Irish destinations and it is only a 10 minute drive to the house. Many flights from all over arrive at Alicante, approx. 40 minutes drive along the motorway.
Car hire is not essential but highly recommended if you wish to see this beautiful part of Spain,
Shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars are all available locally within walking distance. There are also many banks and 24 hour card machines so if you have your bank card and pin number you do not need to bring or carry much cash with you.
